Good Morning Warriors, I have a little bad new. Warriors Boys' Basketball season was suppose to kick off on December 15 at home against Larimore. With the affects of Covid, the Larimore boys' basketball team is on quarantine. Lady Warriors will still be in action on December 15 starting at 5:30. We will be broadcasting on Facebook live. Our NFHS camera will be installed January 5, then we will be broadcasting our games on that. This will be free for our Warrior fans. The Department of Public Instruction has given North Dakota high schools two options for accountability for the 2020-21 school year. • Option 1: Administer the NDSA (ELA/Math) to grade 10 students in the spring of 2021 • Option 2: Administer the ACT to grade 11 students in the spring of 2021 Warwick Public School intends to request approval from the state for Option 2: Administering the ACT to grade 11 students in the spring of 2021. What effect will it have on the instructional program? • Minimal, the instructional program will remain the same with additional test prep for the ACT test. • Grade 10 student will not be required to take the NDSA in the spring of 2021. Stakeholder input would be appreciated.

Hello Warrior/Lady Warrior Nation I first would like to say, we love your continued support for our school and to our student athletes that are participating this year. This year will be a little different. There will be no fans in the building this year for home or away teams. Only staff working the game, such as the timekeepers, official scorers, referees, and other services will be allowed at this time. We will be broadcasting the games live on our school’s Facebook page (Warwick Public School). So, tune in for all your Warrior Athletics on there. This year will be a little different. Junior High players may be eligible for the JV squad, since there is no Junior High this year. Coaches will be picking up the student/athletes from home, but we highly encourage parents to drop off and pickup students after practices and games. There is a slip that needs to be filled out by parents ‘FORM B’. This is for the students that have a sports physical from last sports season. The Athletic Director has those copies in his file. So, if your child did not get a sport physical last year, they will need to get one to play sports this year. Both forms are on the school’s Facebook Page and school’s website.
