Friday night the Warriors defeated Midkota 58-52. The Warriors were lead by Paul Thiele with 23 points followed by Julian Hill with and Jonah Jackson with 9 points. The Warriors will be in action with their last road game of the year against Barns County North on Thursday. JV games starts at 6:00 pm and Varsity to follow.
The Warriors and Lady Warriors were both in action last night against Turtle Mountain. The Lady Warrior defeated Turtle Mountain Sophomore Team 91-53 in an outstanding offensive effort. The Lady Warriors were led by Maddy Leaf with 22 points followed by Trina Hunt with 20 and Victoria Wolters with 10 points. The Girls next game is on Thursday, February 1, against Midkota at Binford, ND. starting at 4:30 with Junior High followed by JV and Varsity.
The Boy's lost a exciting wild shootout 98-85. The Warriors were led in scoring by Julian Hill with 24 followed by Eric Belgarde with 18, Jonah Jackson with 16 and Paul Thiele with 10 points. In a district match-up last night with the Warriors playing Dakota Prairie at McVille the Warriors came up short and was defeated 76-51. The Warriors were led by Paul Thiele with 25 points and Julian Hill with 12 points. The Warriors next game is on Friday, January 26 against Harvey/Wells Co. at Fessenden. The Warriors defeated Lakota tonight 61-53 to get their first district win of the year. The Warriors were led in scoring by Paul Thiele with 16, Jonah Jackson with 14 and Julian Hill with 12 points. The next game for the Warriors will be on January 23 against Dakota Prairie at McVille.

Warwick Lady Warriors dropped their third straight game with a 52-43 loss against Ellendale at home. The Lady Warriors were led by Matty Leaf with 22 points in the loosing effort. The Lady Warriors next game is on Thursday, January 11, at home against Dakota Prairie. The Lady Warriors record is now 2 wins and 10 losses.
In the last posting we reported that the Warriors would play Washburn. This was incorrect as the Warriors played Center-Stanton at Washburn today. The Warriors defeated Center Stanton 65-46. That put the Warriors on a 3 game winning streak and a record of 3 wins-4 losses on the year. Stay tuned with more information to come later.
Warriors defeated Max 76-68 in the McLean County Shootout in Underwood, ND. The Warriors had 4 player in double figures lead by freshman, Jonah Jackson with 19, Jerry Lenoir with 15, Eric Belgarde 13 and Paul Thiele with 12 points. Coach Brown says it is a great team effort and win. The Warriors are back in action on Saturday at the McLean County Shootout against Washburn. Go Warriors!
