A big thank you to NDSCS and welding program coordinator Clint Gilbertson for providing Warwick's welding program with a brand new 210 MP Lincoln welder. Warwick's welding instructor, Dean Hagen, has done a great job connecting with outside resources to continually improve the opportunities for our students! Check out the whole story on the front page of the April 15th Benson County Press.

Parents/Guardian - The Middle School students (5th-8th) have been working on taking the North Dakota State Assessments this week. It is amazing to see so many students here working hard. Testing should be completed by Friday. Make sure your students are here every day and well rested. Thanks to students, teachers, staff, and parents for all their help. It is greatly appreciated!

Hello Warriors! Due to weather conditions, the After School Program/21st Century and Track Practice have been cancelled.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our school has been selected to be part of a program to help underperforming schools, at no cost to the school or district. We will be partnering with Ed Direction (www.eddirection.com), a school improvement consulting organization headquartered in Salt Lake City since 2007 with a track-record of success helping many other schools around the country to improve. We have worked with Ed Direction for 3 years and our partnership includes a comprehensive needs assessment/appraisal, development of 30-, 60-, and 90-day implementation plans, classroom teacher and leadership coaching, professional learning for our staff, and consistent progress monitoring to make adjustments as needed.
Ed Direction will be interviewing teachers and other school staff, and conducting focus groups with students. The information gathered will assist us in making decisions that will help our school in the improvement process.
As part of this process, we are inviting parents to participate in a small group discussion over Zoom. This parent meeting will be facilitated by Ed Direction to ensure that parents’ comments are kept confidential. Parents’ and/or their students’ names will not be used in the any report and their responses to questions about the school will be entirely confidential. The small group discussion will take approximately 30-minutes and is scheduled for:
Wednesday, April 7 at 6:00 PM CT. Link: https://zoom.us/j/9729981342

Karen Lambert, Brielle Little, and Gary Eversvik submitted artwork for the Growing Math art contest in February, presented by 7 Generation Games. Artwork was received from students ranging from grades 4-8 from schools across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Entries were judged by artists and video game professionals in the United States and Canada centered around the contest theme: Connect Indigenous Culture to today's technology. Karen Lambert, an 8th graders at Warwick Middle School, was awarded 3rd place overall and State Winner for North Dakota. Congratulations to Karen and the rest of those who participated in this project.
